GetMahir acts purely as a digital directory and marketplace matching engine designed to connect skilled service providers (e.g., electricians, technicians, independent contractors) with clients looking to hire them. GetMahir is not an employer, employment agency, or labor supplier. Service providers list their availability independently and operate as separate service handlers.
2. User Account Registration & Security
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to form binding agreements within your operating jurisdiction to register a profile.
Account Verification: We offer convenient login mechanisms, including the Meta/Facebook JavaScript SDK. When linking external accounts, you agree to maintain valid authentication structures.
Data Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current professional information during the profiling stage (profiling.php or update-profile.php). Masking identity or misrepresenting professional skill certifications is strictly prohibited.
3. Public Profile Exposure & Communications
Important Marketplace Disclosure:
By building a provider profile on GetMahir, you explicitly understand and agree that your professional profile data-including your Full Name, Profile Picture, Chosen Profession, Location, and explicitly shared contact parameters such as your Phone Number and WhatsApp Link-will be made fully visible to the public. This structure exists to allow clients to verify your skills and initiate direct business contact.
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
All users agree to act professionally and lawfully on the platform. You are explicitly prohibited from:
Creating fake profiles, misrepresenting qualifications, or listing skills you are not certified or legally allowed to perform.
Using public user contact details (Phone/WhatsApp) scraped from the platform for spamming, harassment, unprompted marketing campaigns, or malicious behavior.
Posting offensive, defamatory, or abusive content anywhere inside profile reviews or service descriptions.
Engaging in any activity that compromises the technical framework layout or stability of the web server.
5. Limitation of Liability & Third-Party Direct Transactions
Because GetMahir is strictly an introductory matching directory platform:
We do not employ, evaluate, endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the character, legal background, work quality, safety standards, or certifications of independent service providers.
All pricing structures, service guarantees, task executions, and payments happen directly between the client and the service provider (via WhatsApp or offline communication channels). GetMahir is not a party to any direct transaction agreements.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, financial losses, property damage, or personal injury arising from interactions or assignments sourced through the platform.
6. Intellectual Property
The code architecture, layout, design, graphics, branding, and system elements of the GetMahir Portal are the exclusive property of GetMahir. You may not copy, reverse engineer, replicate, or scrape data from the portal without our explicit prior written authorization.
7. Suspension and Termination of Accounts
We reserve the complete right to temporarily suspend or permanently delete user profiles at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, if we determine a user has violated these Terms, received consistent negative user feedback, or engaged in fraudulent activity on our platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdictions in which we operate (including the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan). Any legal actions or disputes related to the use of our services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the respective competent courts.
